Welcome to Choi Kai Yau College!

Welcome to Choi Kai Yau College! Located in W12, we are one of the original Residential Colleges at the University of Macau main campus.  Founded in 2014 during the initial relocation to Hengqin Island, it provides a place of residence and a “home away from home” for 700+ students and 50+ faculty fellows affiliated with the college.

Students and fellows at Choi Kai Yau College are able to enjoy accommodation and the opportunity to meet new friends, mix with their instructors and professors, and broaden their knowledge of culture as well as have valuable and lasting new life experiences. The College provides a wholesome, healthy and sustainable integrative learning atmosphere through community and peer education that is part of the 4-in-1 Education Model of the University of Macau.

Students and fellows alike are also encouraged to engage and pursue their social and intellectual interests through the various college activities, clubs, exchanges, and interactions with other college members. In addition, students are encouraged to lead and contribute in the college community to realize their true potential as local and global citizens.
