Student Care Services
The well-being of our students is a top priority for Choi Kai Yau College and the University of Macau. CKYC strives to provide a safe, hygienic and comfortable living environment for all our students. The College understands that the transition to university life may not be easy, and the pressures from academics, career and family may be burdensome.
If any student feel unwell, physically or emotionally, help is always at hand.
UM Medical Center
The UM Medical Center is located in Room G002 of the UM Sports Complex (N8), and offers medical consultation service, nursing and first aid service. Appointment and walk-in services are available.

Psychological Wellness Resources
If a student feels anxious or depressed, he/she may consider chatting to his/her Resident Tutor or Resident Assistant, or the Academic staff (Resident Fellow/Associate Master) in charge of his/her floor. All such conversations will be confidential.
The Resident Fellow or Associate Master will offer support and guidance and may refer the student for further follow-up care with the College Social Worker, Counselling Section of the UM Student Affairs Office, or the Medical Center.

The UM Student Affairs Office has arranged the College Social Worker to be available for appointment or walk-in consultation two afternoons a week during term time.
