Choi Kai Yau College, Stanley Ho East Asia College, Moon Chun Memorial College, and Henry Fok Pearl Jubilee College jointly organized a series of Zentangle® workshops on 1 March and 8 March 2021 at Stanley Ho East Asia College. 21 students from the four Colleges participated in the series of workshops.
The Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) Eugenia Chan was invited to run the workshop to share the Zentangle drawing techniques. Eugenia briefly introduced the origin of Zentangle, the basic patterns and the drawing tools to the participants and taught them how to draw. The drawing process helps the participants to relax themselves and experience the meditative state of mindfulness. Mr. Elvo So, the Head of the Student Counseling Section of the Student Affairs Office was also invited to introduce mindfulness and mindfulness-based stress reduction.
