To alleviate students’ learning anxiety and promote students’ physical and mental health, CKYC held a Singing Bowl Workshop at W12-G016 on April 26. The course was taught by Ou Jiezhen, a senior singing bowl instructor in Macau, and a total of 10 college students participated in this activity. In the class, Ms. Ou not only taught the essentials of singing bowl, but also explained the origin and development of singing bowl. Under the guidance of Ms. Ou, the students practiced different positions: sitting cross-legged, bending legs, stretching arms, and lying quietly. With the sound of singing bowls, students felt relieved and experienced the fun of singing bowl. After class, the students said that after participating in the Singing Bowl Workshop, their nervousness and anxiety were relieved a lot and the pressure of study was also released.
