18 students and teachers from Choi Kai Yau College from the University of Macau and Sacred Heart Canossian College have joined the event of visiting elderly living alone held by the AJVM. Volunteers are being divided into groups for the visit of a total of 25 elderly living alone, together with little gifts prepared by CKYC. Throughout the visit, students can get to know the life of the elderly and the feeling of the elderly about their lives. Although the time for visiting one family is limited, it cannot be denied that each elderly is glad for this event.
It is an opportunity for us to put our focus on the life of the elderly who lives alone, we should spend some time as a volunteer and join this type of event so that more elderly can receive care from the youngsters.
