On August 22, 2019, Professor Song Yonghua, the Rector of the University of Macau, accompanied by Mr. Paul Pang, the Dean of Student Affairs, came to Choi Kai Yau College and visit the students of the college.
Rector Song entered the Dining Hall and was warmly welcomed by the students. He waved to the students and ate with the students. Rector Song sat in the midst of the students, and engaged the students in a friendly conversation. He asked the students about their life and studies in detail, and he was especially concerned about the life and learning experiences of the new students. Rector Song carefully asked whether the freshmen adapted to university life and whether they adapted to the English teaching environment of the University of Macau. Students from Macao, Tianjin, Hubei and other places talked about their feelings after entering the school. Many students also came to greet the Rector. The Dining Hall was filled with a happy atmosphere, and the students were very excited to be able to meet with the Rector. Before leaving, Rector Song took a group photo with some students.
2019年8月22日中午，澳門大學校長宋永華教授在學生事務長彭執中先生的陪同下，來到蔡繼有書院，探望書院學生。
宋校長步入飯堂，受到學生們的熱烈歡迎，他向學生們揮手致意，並與學生們一同就餐。宋校長坐在學生們中間，一邊用餐一邊與學生們親切交談，詳細詢問了學生們的生活、學習情況，特別關心新生們的生活學習情況。宋校長仔細詢問了新生們是否適應大學生活，是否適應澳門大學全英文的教學環境等。來自澳門本地及內地天津、湖北等地的學生與校長暢談入學後的感受，很多學生也紛紛前來與校長打招呼。飯堂洋溢著歡樂的氣氛，同學們對能夠與校長近距離面對面的交流非常興奮。臨別時，宋校長與部分學生合影留念。
