The demand for data analysis is rapidly increasing in society, and data science plays a significant role. R is the most popular language in the world of data science. It is heavily used in analyzing data that is both structured and unstructured. This has made R the standard language for performing statistical operations.
CKYC organized the introductory course of the R program, which was facilitated by FED Prof. Chester Kam. The course covered the topic of data visualization, transformation, and program. Students learn about the basic concept and operation of the R program, and the teaching assistants work with the students throughout the semester to advance their R programming competency levels. The course and related tutorials attract students from various faculty and years. Students claimed that the course could improve their learning ability and competitiveness.
