Under the planning and organization of the Choi Kai Yau House Association, CKYC held a talent show on the evening of April 07, 2021: CKYC Wonderful Night in the E31 Student Activity Centre Theatre. The Master, Professor Janny Leung, Associate Master, and the Fellows attended the event, but the evening belonged to CKYC students: performers, workers behind the scene, and the audience! Everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed the audio-visual feast.

The live performances were splendid and the talents of the performers are diverse. There were not only the sentimental touching folk solo “Big Fish”, the original song “Sleeping Slum” with dynamic rap, and the folk song “Anhe Bridge” sung with a guitar. The dance “Sunset Red Dance” with a strong sense of rhythm actively drove the emotions of the audience, and there were cheers on the spot. In the end, CHAN Iat Tin won the championship of the talent show with his unique skills in artistic cycling.

The wonderful night of CKYC ended successfully with long-lasting applause, and everyone took lots of photos. Through this event, everyone felt the strong artistic atmosphere, traditional culture, and vigor and vitality of Choi Kai Yau College. In watching and interacting during the show, the audience felt relaxed physically and mentally while the performers expressed themselves on the stage to their fullest and received high praise and exquisite prizes. The college students all expressed their expectations for next year’s talent show and hope that the talent show will be better and better. Choi Kai Yau College hopes that through this activity, everyone is encouraged to actively showcase their talents, pay tribute to various art forms, and enjoy life with a positive attitude.
