With effect from 9 December 2023, our CKYC Non-Resident Fellow, Professor CHEN Xin, has been appointed as Director of State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (University of Macau) [(SKL-QRCM (UM)]. Professor Chen obtained his MD in Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 1991 and PhD in Immunology from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands in 2013. Professor Chen joined UM in 2014 and is now the Director and Distinguished Professor of Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences. Since December 2021, he has been serving as Interim Director of SKL-QRCM (UM). Professor Chen has actively participated in various College and student activities, provided academic support to CKYC students, and created opportunities for students to enhance their academic development.
