With effect from 10 February 2022, our CKYC Non-Resident Fellow, Professor CHEN Xin, will be appointed as Director of Institute of Chinese Medical Sciences (ICMS). Professor Chen obtained his MD in Chinese Medicine from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine in 1991 and PhD in Immunology from Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands in 2013. Professor Chen joined UM in 2014 and is now the Distinguished Professor of ICMS and Interim Director of State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine (University of Macau). During his service as Interim Director ICMS, Prof. Chen has been leading the institute to strive for establishing a world-class system for quality research and an innovation platform in Chinese Medicine and pursue excellence in talent cultivation, scientific research and social services. Prof. Chen has been active to participate in various College and student activities and to provide academic support to CKYC students.
