At the 16th national conference of the Operational Research Society of China (ORSC) held on 14th to 16th December, 2022, Prof. Janny Leung, Master of Choi Kai Yau College and member of the State Key Lab of IoT for Smart City, was invited to give a plenary address where she spoke on “Public Transport for Smart Cities” and had the opportunity to introduce the research on Smart Cities done at UM. She also spoke at the Opening Ceremony of the conference as representative (President) of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies.
Earlier that week, she was also a plenary speaker at the 26th annual conference of the Hong Kong Society for Transportation Studies, held in Hong Kong on 12th-13th December, 2022.
