Choi Kai Yau College recently held an academic sharing, titled “Social entrepreneurship in family, school, community in action”. Professor Howard Ling, Chief Consultant of the Social Enterprise Business Center and Professor of Baptist University, introduced various types of social enterprises, and discussed responsibilities as a global citizen.

Prof. Ling mentioned the experience of founding social enterprises and used successful examples of social enterprises from all over the world, such as jean recycling, the ugly fruit revolution, etc, to provide students with a deeper understanding of social enterprises. In fact, as global citizens, we have an important responsibility to help communities in need, while also contributing to the environment and people’s lives in our daily actions.
