Choi Kai Yau College (CKYC) has been supporting Bia Sha Primary School in Congjiang, Guizhou in forms of charitable donations and service teachings since 2019. The College students have also established a strong friendship with the teachers and students of the primary school and have kept in touch ever since then.
CKYC held a bubble tea charity sale on May 6th 2021, raising a total amount of 1725 MOP. All the money was used to buy sports equipment for Bia Sha Primary School to enrich the school life of the students.
In order to provide a better multimedia education environment for the primary school, CKYC has also cooperated with Information and Communication Technology Office (ICTO) of University of Macau to donate 25 laptop computers to enable the school pupils to access better educational resources. Letting the children of this region know more about the outside world and help them widen their horizons.
In early June of 2021, all the donated laptop computers and sports equipment had been delivered successfully to Congjiang as presents of Children’s day to the Bia Sha Primary School children. Due to the pandemic, CKYC students cannot visit Bia Sha Primary School for voluntary teaching this summer, but they still expressed the blessings by making this donation. Distance will not hinder the spread of love.
