Facilities and Rooms

The College building encloses a quadrangle which includes a Japanese-style rock garden in the cloistered courtyard. The hostel for the 500 resident students in the College are on the upper floors of the building; each room is fully furnished for two students with an ensuite bathroom shared with the neighboring room. There are pantries and laundry facilities and a Common Room on each hostel floor. Facilities on the ground and first floors include a Reading Room (with a self-service lending library), a Recreation Room, the Dining Hall, two Music Rooms, a fully-equipped Kitchen,  a Fitness Room, the Junior Common Room, a Dance Studio and a Contemplation Room (for quiet reading, reflection or meditation), and benches and other seating around the courtyard. The College layout is designed to promote social interaction among students and facilitate their collaborative learning. The Master, Associate Master and the Resident Fellows also reside in the College.
