“The Development of City and Culture Exchange Program” is jointly initiated by Chongshi College of Xi’an Jiaotong University, Meng Xiancheng College of East China Normal University, Fengru College of Beihang University, and Choi Kai Yau College of the University of Macau. This program is a cross-school, cross-city cultural exchange activity aimed at exploring the unique cultures of the four cities.

The program encouraged students to learn from history and understand modern development. Students from the four colleges worked in mixed groups and joined in activities such as talks, workshops, and visits to local sites to learn more about urban culture.

Highlights of the trip included visits to the Xi’an Jiaotong University Relocation Museum and the Qinqiang Opera Museum, where students learned about the university’s history and Shaanxi’s traditional opera culture. They also visited Samsung (China) Semiconductor Co., Ltd. to see advanced manufacturing technology. In the evenings, students explored famous places like the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Tang Dynasty Ever-bright City, and the Muslim Quarter.

Students from Choi Kai Yau College said the trip gave them a deeper appreciation of both history and modern technology. The exchange program helps build stronger connections between universities and supports quality education by offering students valuable learning and growth opportunities.
