From October 13th to November 3rd, CKYC hosted a photography competition themed “Taste of China”. Focusing on “food and culture”, the event aimed to explore the historical heritage, regional characteristics and humanistic emotions behind Chinese cuisine through participants’ photographic art, showcasing the cultural genes carried by “A Bite of China”. Through the students’ works, food has gained a soul, the charm of Chinese cuisine has been spread, and the cultural memories on the tip of the tongue have been recorded. This competition built a platform for exchange and display for students who love photography and food, presenting the contemporary expressions of Chinese food culture from a student perspective. The aromas and warmth frozen in the lens reveal the diverse charm and enduring vitality of Chinese food culture, allowing the story of “Taste of China” to continue in the flow of light and shadow.
