On April 13, Choi Kai Yau College of the University of Macau was invited by Shaw College of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen to participate in the teacher-student co-creation carnival organized by Shaw College to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen.

At 7 p.m. that day, the carnival party kicked off on time. With nervousness and excitement, the Blackpack Band successfully completed the performance of the two tracks “Spring Is Not as Expected” and “Nothin’ on YouRemix on the stage, winning thunderous applause and cheers. All members of the Blackpack Band said that they were very honored to be invited to perform a wonderful performance for the school anniversary carnival on this special day. As the Founding President of Shaw College and the current Master of Choi Kai Yau College, Prof. Leung May Yee Janny was invited to the stage to deliver a speech after the Black Box Band’s exciting performance. Prof. Leung said that she was very grateful to Shaw College for its kind invitation. This year also happens to be the 10th anniversary of Choi Kai Yau College. She felt extremely honored to be able to participate in the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the founding of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. She expressed with great expectation that she hopes to witness a better future when Shaw College celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2026. Finally, she passionately shouted the slogan of Shaw College: “We are Shaw, best of all”, pushing the atmosphere to a climax.

This activity not only demonstrates the diversified extracurricular skills education provided by Choi Kai Yau College to students, which also provides a valuable platform for teachers and students of the two schools to showcase their talents and exchange learning. It also deepens the friendship and cooperation between Choi Kai Yau College of the University of Macau and the Shaw College of Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. It’s believed that in the days to come, the two schools will continue to work together to make greater contributions to cultivating more outstanding talents and promoting academic progress.
