CKYC Non-Resident Fellow Professor MAK Pui In, Elvis will be appointed as Director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI

With effect from 23 March 2023, our CKYC Non-Resident Fellow Professor MAK Pui In, Elvis will be appointed as Director of the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI (University of Macau) [SKL-AMSV]. Professor Mak obtained his bachelor’s and doctoral degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Macau in 2003 and 2006 respectively, and joined UM in 2006. Professor Mak is currently a Professor in Faculty of Science and Technology, Deputy Director (Research) of Institute of Microelectronics and served as Interim Director of SKL-AMSV since March 2022.

Professor Mak is an internationally recognised expert in the field of integrated circuits, specialising in radio frequency and analog integrated circuits. He is a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, a fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and an overseas expert of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Professor Mak has been active to participate in various College and student activities and to provide academic support to CKYC students.
