UM Rector had lunch with Students in Choi Kai Yau College


On August 22, 2019, Professor Song Yonghua, the Rector of the University of Macau, accompanied by Mr. Paul Pang, the Dean of Student Affairs, came to Choi Kai Yau College and visit the students of the college.

Rector Song entered the restaurant and was warmly welcomed by the students. He waved to the students and ate with the students. Rector Song sat in the middle of the students, and greeted the students with a friendly conversation. He asked the students about their life and study in detail, and he was especially concerned about the life and learning of the new students. Rector Song carefully asked whether the freshmen adapted to university life and whether they adapted to the teaching environment of the University of Macau in English. Students from Macao, Tianjin, Hubei and other places talked about their feelings after entering the school. Many students also came to greet the Rector. The restaurant was filled with a happy atmosphere, and the students were very excited to be able to meet up with the Rector. When leaving, Rector Song took a group photo with some students.
